Safe & Fair Play

We are signatories to the Government’s Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators. This page sets out what that means in practice.

We would rather tell you exactly what we do than make it sound better than it is. So this includes the bits we are still working on.

1. Keeping you safe

Age

You must be 18 or over to enter. We collect your date of birth when you register, and we check identity before we release a prize of any real value.

We are asking our platform provider to add a proper age check at sign-up. Until that is in place, the date of birth you give us is what we have.

Spend limits

You can set a spend limit on your account from My Account. Daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, and you can set it as low as £0.

Once it is set, you cannot go past it. That is not a promise, it is how the system works: across every spend limit on the site, not one player has ever spent beyond the limit they set.

Right now you have to go and find that setting yourself, which is not good enough. We have asked for it to be offered to you after your first order.

Credit cards

This page used to say we cap credit card spending at £250 a month and block credit cards on Instant Wins. We have taken that down, because we cannot currently deliver it.

The Code we have signed asks for both. Our card processor will not build either control, and told us so in April. We are pushing for it, we are looking at blocking credit cards on Instant Wins at the checkout ourselves, and we have told the Government the same thing in writing.

If you are thinking about paying by credit card, our advice is don’t. Set a spend limit instead.

Taking a break

You can pause your account for a short period, or suspend it for a minimum of six months.

A suspension cannot be lifted early. Our team is not allowed to reverse one, so please don’t ask them, and if you do we will not budge. That is the point of it.

You can also close your account permanently. Just ask.

We stop marketing to suspended accounts. Being straight with you: today that relies on us doing it manually, because our platform does not yet tell our email and text systems when an account is suspended. We have asked for that to be fixed. If you ever get a marketing message from us during a suspension, reply to it and tell us, and we will sort it.

If you are struggling

Free, confidential help, none of it connected to us:

If money is a worry, tell us and we will treat it as urgent rather than as a support ticket. Email [email protected].

2. Keeping it fair

How the draw is done

It depends on the draw.

Competitions marked Auto Draw are decided by our platform’s accredited random number generator, which produces a verifiable record of each draw.

Competitions we draw live are broadcast on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, and the winning number is generated on camera using Google’s random number generator. You can watch it happen, but it is not the accredited system, and here is why.

This page previously said all our draws use a certified random number generator. That is true of Auto Draws. It is not currently true of the live ones.

Earlier this year we put the accredited system on our live draws too, and two things went wrong in front of you. The draw display lagged and showed one number before settling on another. And two draws in a row came up with the same winning number.

We checked both. The final number was the right one against the entry list, and the two matching draws were independent, so the repeat was coincidence rather than a fault.

It did not matter. You had stopped believing what you were being shown, and several of you said so.

So we went back to the visible Google draw for live competitions while we sort it out properly. Auto Draws stayed on the accredited system, because there is no display there for the fault to appear in.

Where we want to get to is a draw you can check yourself: the accredited system back on live draws too, with the draw commitment published beforehand and the seed published after, so you do not have to take our word for any of it. We are working on that with our provider now.

Guaranteed draws

We never extend a competition to sell more tickets. If it sells out, we draw it. If it doesn’t, we draw it anyway, on the date advertised, with the full prize. No exceptions.

Where a competition sells out early, we bring the draw forward and say so on the page before you buy.

Odds

Every competition page shows the maximum number of tickets and how many have sold, before you enter and while it is running. The maximum number of entries per person is on there too. Work out your odds before you spend anything.

Free entry

Every competition has a free postal entry route, including Instant Wins. It is on the competition page itself, before you buy anything, and the full instructions are in our Terms & Conditions.

A free entry gets a ticket number from the same pool as a paid one and has the same chance of winning. We are removing a clause in our terms that muddied this, so there is no doubt about it.

3. Holding ourselves to it

Reviewing our own compliance

We keep a register covering every clause of the Code, with the evidence for each one and a review date.

We are behind on it. A review due in July 2026 did not happen, and when we came to do it properly in August we found thirteen things wrong, including four claims on this page that were ahead of what we could actually deliver. That is why this page has changed.

Reviews now check the live site and the live data rather than our own paperwork, and the next one is booked.

Our suppliers

Our website, entry system, draw mechanism and account tools are built and run by Think Zap. Our card processing is DNA Payments.

We have asked Think Zap to sign up to the Code’s requirements in our contract. They have not done so yet, and we are chasing it. We use no affiliates or introducers: everything that brings you here is run by us.

If you have a complaint

Email [email protected] with “Complaint” in the subject, call 01709 646890, or write to us at 12-14 Hangsman Lane, Dinnington, Sheffield, S25 3PF.

We will acknowledge within 2 working days and give you a proper answer within 10. If you are not happy with it, ask us to escalate and you will get a final answer within a further 15 working days. Our full complaints policy is here.

If you think we have breached the Code, you can go to the Government directly: [email protected].
