Free Entry by Post

Every competition on this site can be entered for free by post. A free postal entry has exactly the same chance of winning as a paid entry, and is allocated a ticket number in the same way.

How to enter by post

1. Make sure you have an account on this website. We need it to allocate your ticket and to contact you if you win. Postal entries from people without an account cannot be processed.

2. Write your entry by hand on an unenclosed postcard. Printed, computer-generated or photocopied entries are not accepted. Include your full name, your address, a contact telephone number and email address (these must match the details on your account), the name of the competition you are entering, and your answer to the competition question.

3. Post it by first or second class post to: Bonkers Competitions, 12-14 Hangsman Lane, Dinnington, Sheffield, S25 3PF. Hand-delivered entries are not accepted.

4. One competition entry per postcard. If you want more than one free entry, send each one separately. Several entries in one envelope count as a single entry.

When to post it

Your entry must reach us before the draw takes place. Please allow for postal delivery times. Your entry will be accepted and given a ticket number even if the paid entries have already sold out, and if a competition sells out and the draw is brought forward we will hold the draw open long enough for postal entries already in the post to arrive. Entries that arrive after the draw has taken place cannot be entered.

What happens next

We do not acknowledge postal entries individually and we do not confirm whether your answer was correct. If your entry is valid and your answer is right, your ticket number is allocated to your account and you are in the draw. If you win, we contact you using the details on your account.

The full rules for postal entry are at clause 3.11 of our Competition Terms & Conditions. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
